Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is hiring Meter Readers for UK locations with flexible, part-time hours. No experience required. You will collect data from gas, electricity & water meters, using a handheld device, visiting domestic and commercial sites, and delivering excellent customer service.

Full training provided, weekly pay, £13.23-£13.50 per hour, with potential to earn £23,000-£30,000 per year including bonuses. Company car, uniform, PPE, and pension enrolment are included.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but customer service experience is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule including some Saturdays.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full training provided on meter reads and handheld device.
• Physically fit to lift and bend as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from domestic, commercial, and industrial meters (gas, electric, water).
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Conduct Charge Point Surveys as required.
• Operate handheld device for data entry and readings.
• Provide excellent customer service at all client sites.
