Job summary

Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers in the United Kingdom. No experience required. You’ll collect data from gas, electricity and water meters for commercial and residential properties using a handheld device, updating reads and providing excellent customer service.

Role offers 40–45 hours weekly with flexible start/finish times, a company car, pension enrolment, and full training. DBS/credit checks apply. Weekly pay and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Full UK manual driving licence with 1 year minimum and up to 6 points.
• Physically able to perform meter readings and walk 4–5 miles daily.
• Clear DBS check and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Charge point surveys.
• Be motivated to work independently and manage your day.
• Maintain a professional, friendly approach and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
