Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited in Wellesbourne is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+) to join our on-site, permanent team. This full-time role offers £27,900 per year and a 40-hour week, with outdoor learning and Forest School opportunities as core parts of the daily routines.

The setting emphasises development, safeguarding and high-quality Early Years education, with transport requirement due to village location.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ childcare qualification or equivalent
• Experience in early years settings preferred
• Good communication and safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and Early Years education throughout the nursery day
• Create experiences around children’s individual interests and developmental needs
• Use age-appropriate resources to encourage exploration, creativity and independence
• Support children as they develop new skills and become increasingly confident
• Make outdoor learning a meaningful part of children’s everyday experiences
• Make full use of the nursery’s dedicated gardens and Forest School opportunities
• Support pre-school children to develop the confidence and skills they need for their transition to school
• Observe children’s progress and plan meaningful next steps
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
