Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to maintain the appearance and usability of our operational sites, land and property. You will operate a range of grounds equipment and perform basic facility tasks while strictly following safety and company policies.

The role requires practical outdoors work across diverse sites, a valid driving licence, and the willingness to contribute to a stable, purpose-driven organisation with strong community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated, organized with excellent knowledge and use of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment.
• Valid driving licence is essential and experience towing a plant trailer.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Grounds and Facility maintenance on operational sites, land and property.
• Mow large areas, edge cutting, hedge cutting, litter picking, gutter clearing and snow clearing.
• Ensure machinery is operated safely and maintained with check sheets.
• Follow Health & Safety regs, risk assessments and company policies.
