Job summary

Keys Group's Activity & Intervention service in Wrexham (LL11) is seeking a Children's Support Worker with Outdoor Activities to join a residential, activity-based home for young people aged 8–18. You will stay on-site during working days, with accommodation and meals provided.

Candidates must be over 21 with a full UK driving licence, be eligible to work in the UK, and be able to lead adventures such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Ability to work 39 hours per week, with the 4 days on/8 days off rota and sleep-ins.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Capability to engage in outdoor activities and support young people.
• Teamwork and personal development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead adventurous outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking to build confidence and life skills.
• Provide daily care and emotional support to children aged 8-18.
• Build nurturing relationships and maintain a safe, supportive environment within a residential setting.
• Participate in 12-week programme to aid confidence and routine building for the young people.
