Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Children’s Activity Based Support Worker in Gwynedd, North Wales. The role requires residing at the activities centre for four days of the 4-on/8-off schedule, with 39 hours weekly and overnights. You will supervise adventure activities and provide daily care to young people aged 8–18 in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 and hold a full UK driver’s license.
• Must be able to commit to 39 hours per week with the 4 days on, 8 days off pattern including sleep-ins.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• DBS check processed and paid by Keys Group.

Responsibilities

• Lead adventurous activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking.
• Provide daily care and emotional support to children aged 8–18.
• Build nurturing relationships to support personal and social development.
• Ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment within an activity-based residential home.
