Job summary

Deta Electrical Company Limited is seeking a seasoned Head of outbound warehouse operations to lead pick, pack and despatch for major retail DIY customers. You will own end-to-end fulfilment, ensure on-time delivery within service levels, and manage carrier handovers and documentation.

The role demands strong leadership, safety and continuous improvement across outbound processes. You will partner with inventory, sales, and customer services to maintain a high performing, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in leadership of outbound warehouse ops in high-volume retail
• Strong KPI focus with OTIF, order accuracy and productivity improvements
• Experience with WMS/ERP and MS Office for reporting

Responsibilities

• Retail Customer Service - own outbound fulfilment performance for major DIY customers, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Outbound Operations - lead end-to-end pick, pack and despatch, coordinating labour and workflow to meet targets.
• Order Picking - ensure efficient and accurate picking and resolve stock or system exceptions.
• Packing and Customer Compliance - ensure orders are packed, labelled and rated to customer specs.
• Despatch and Carrier Management - manage staging, loading, despatch docs and handovers to meet cut-off times.
• Team Leadership and Performance - coach and manage the outbound team and ensure a high-performing culture.
