Job summary

The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd in Romsey is seeking an Outbound Sales Executive for a temp-to-perm position. The role involves up-selling and supporting customers with high-value products, with a focus on efficient call handling and accurate record-keeping.

Full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00. Salary starts at £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay; free parking and proximity to the train station are benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience would be an advantage.
• Target and results driven with ability to close a sale and handle objections.
• Confident and able to communicate effectively.
• Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills.
• Good IT skills including use of e-mail and Microsoft products.
• Work well in a team and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Up-sell additional products relevant to what the customer is already buying.
• Support customers purchasing high-value products, utilising deep product knowledge.
• Efficiently book services and resolve inquiries at the initial point of contact.
• Accurately record customer contact details by telephone, ensuring compliance with regulations and attention to detail.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls.
• Provide service knowledge where necessary.
