The Sofa Delivery Company, part of the DFS Group, is looking for a delivery operations leader in the United Kingdom. You will manage a two-person delivery team, ensure compliant, high-quality service, and drive continuous improvement across recruitment, onboarding, and performance coaching.

Salary is £37,078 per annum with a potential annual bonus up to £2,000, plus generous staff discounts and wellbeing perks.

What you'll be doing

• From supporting the Warehouse and Driving teams to ensuring compliance and high service standards, you’ll be at the heart of it all. You’ll also help recruit, onboard, and train new colleagues, setting them up for success so they can create great customer experiences.
• Ensuring every delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Leading, coaching, and developing your team to deliver their best work.
• Managing compliance for vehicles, trailers, and driver regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
• Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
