Job summary

Deltatre is seeking a Technical Delivery Director for the Vesper Build and Run portfolio in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on end-to-end delivery leadership across multiple squads, maintaining architectural alignment and client relationships, while expanding the delivery function to scale with the business.

Qualifications

• Delivery accountability for a portfolio of concurrent large-scale programmes
• Experience leading through other technical and delivery leaders
• Solution architecture across a mix of digital platforms
• Senior client-facing credibility and ability to manage fixed-date escalations
• Commitment to commercial decisions - margin, penalty exposure, fixed-price vs T&M

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of client programmes from requirements to launch and run
• Report delivery status across squads and dependencies
• Maintain high standards of technical delivery and Definition of Ready/Done
• Lead 6 delivery squads initially (40–45 engineers)
• Forecast capacity and advocate for additional squad capacity
• Mentor engineers and maintain engineering quality
• Build governance with Delivery Directors and Project Managers and collaborate with Product Management
