Job summary

RGH-Global is seeking Occupational Therapists for full-time and part-time roles in Huddersfield to join our Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. This clinic-based/hybrid role requires conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD in children and young people, with remote history interviews and MDT discussions.

You'll deliver clear feedback to families, produce diagnostic reports, and meet KPIs, with options for clinical supervision and flexible in-office days.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 1 year experience conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental assessments with children and young people.
• Experience with assessment tools for autism/ADHD.
• Experience working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
• Willing to conduct assessments for autism and ADHD.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism/ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions and provide feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.
• Write assessment reports timely with recommendations and interventions.
• Meet service KPIs and provide supervision to junior staff where applicable.
• Attend Huddersfield clinic base for in-person assessments (1–2 days/week).
