Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a neurodevelopmental service in the North East. This hybrid role combines remote developmental history interviews with on-site clinic observations, delivering diagnostic feedback and high-quality reports.

Requirements include HCPC registration as an OT, 1+ year of relevant neurodevelopmental assessment experience, and familiarity with DSM-5 criteria. ADOS-2/ADI-R experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 1 year experience in neurodevelopmental assessments
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism/ADHD
• Experience using ADOS-2 or ADI-R or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
• Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents via Zoom
• Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinical support
• Deliver clear diagnostic feedback to families
• Produce high-quality clinical reports using smart tools
• Meet service KPIs through caseload management
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable
• Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid role)
