Job summary

Oakdale is seeking a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join its private mental health service team. The role involves conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults across pathways, with supervision until independent competency is demonstrated.

The post requires hybrid working with on-site days for observation at Leeds, Harrogate, or Halifax centres. 37.5 hours weekly, with part-time options from 15 hours.

Qualifications

• Core professional qualification and current, active registration with one of the regulatory bodies listed (NMC/HCPC/Social Work England).
• Certification in neurodevelopmental assessment tools (ADOS-2, DIVA, etc.) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments across age ranges.
• Formulate diagnostic outcomes with MDT input when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation within required timescales.
• Participate in MDT discussions and clinical governance activities.
• Utilise digital systems for documentation and reporting.
