Job summary

Ipsen Biopharm Ltd in Wrexham is seeking an experienced OT Support Lead to oversee and develop our Operational Technology function across manufacturing and automation systems. You will lead a team of specialists, driving cybersecurity, reliability, and digitalisation initiatives in a collaborative environment.

The role works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Global IT to deliver technology solutions that enhance operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar position.
• People management experience or experience from a senior position in the team.
• Good communication skills. Able to keep multiple stakeholders informed.
• Regulatory knowledge e.g. GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR11, EU ANNEX 11.
• Ideally experience gained in the pharma industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operational Technology professionals.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of manufacturing and automation systems.
• Drive site OT and cybersecurity strategies in line with business and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that support operational excellence.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and digital transformation opportunities.
• Manage OT projects and system upgrades, ensuring compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards.
