Job summary

ALTEN in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to join our nuclear-sector teams in Dungeness, Romney Marsh, UK. You will maintain OT systems, support cyber resilience, and work closely with engineering and operations to keep assets secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering or Cybersecurity, or equivalent military experience.
• Eligible for UK security clearance.
• Up to 2 years’ experience in Operational Technology (OT) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security management across the full lifecycle (development to in-service operation).
• Support configuration control and system management, including tools, data, and repositories.
• Ensure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety in all activities.
• Act as a point of contact for site OT security matters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting team development.
