Job summary
Uniper in the United Kingdom is seeking an on-site technician to support the Lead C&I Engineer with maintenance strategy and to assist the OT Security Engineer in cyber risk mitigation. You will investigate issues, perform routine OT cyber maintenance, and keep asset inventories, network diagrams, and records up to date.
The role requires a Technical apprenticeship Level 3 and proven C&I/industrial automation maintenance experience, with knowledge of DCS, P&ID, and OT security concepts.
Qualifications
- Technical apprenticeship with Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in cyber security / control engineering / automation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and PLC logic.
Responsibilities
- Support Lead C&I Engineer with maintenance strategy delivery.
- Assist OT Security Engineer with cyber risk mitigation activities.
- Investigate and resolve field instrument issues and OT faults.
- Carry out routine OT cyber maintenance, patching, and inventory upkeep.
- Prepare maintenance orders and deliver work packages.
- Support OT security controls and incident investigations.
