Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an Operational Technology Engineer to join our team in Dungeness, UK, focusing on safety-critical OT systems for the Nuclear sector. You will help maintain and secure plant OT environments, working with engineers and operations to ensure reliability and compliance.

The role offers on-site work in Dungeness with BPSS clearance and 2 years of OT experience. You will gain hands-on exposure to industrial cyber security and asset management in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the OT/I&C lifecycle and asset management.
• Knowledge of configuration control and security considerations.
• Experience with in-service OT systems and fault tolerance would help.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security across the lifecycle.
• Support configuration control and system management, including data repositories.
• Ensure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety are embedded in activities.
• Act as point of contact for site OT security matters and related documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team development.
