Job summary
Sword Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to join our specialist OT Systems team. You will provide technical expertise across OT projects, supporting development, maintenance and upgrade of critical OT systems and infrastructure.
You will work with operational and technology support teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of OT environments, contribute to new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives, and participate
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and performance improvement.
- Experience analysing system failures and implementing solutions to improve reliability and resilience.
- Strong understanding of OT system monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management practices.
Responsibilities
- Support evaluation and implementation of new technologies via proof-of-concepts and technical research.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve critical control systems.
- Contribute to cyber security, disaster recovery, backup management and resilience exercises.
