Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to join our Romney Marsh, UK teams, supporting Nuclear sector activities.

You will gain hands-on experience in industrial OT environments, focusing on maintenance, configuration control, and cyber resilience of plant OT systems while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Role requires 2–5 years of OT experience, UK security clearance eligibility, and on-site deployment at Romney Marsh.

Qualifications

• Understanding OT/I&C system lifecycle and configuration control.
• Knowledge of security considerations for OT environments.
• Experience with in-service management and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security across lifecycle.
• Support configuration control, data and repository management.
• Ensure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety.
• Act as site OT security contact and support security activities.
• Maintain OT documentation including asset registers and SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the team.
