Job summary

National Gas in Ebbw Vale is seeking an experienced electrical engineering asset management professional to test and validate OT and cybersecurity capabilities in a safe offline environment. You will provide technical electrical engineering expertise, support innovation projects and ensure outputs can transition to operations safely.

The role requires EL96 LV4 Authorised Person status, strong governance knowledge of NIS, safety rules and CAF assurance, and mentoring of CORE technicians while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with EL96 LV4 Authorised Person status and LV isolations.
• Experience in OT cyber security and governance requirements.
• Ability to manage LV isolations safely.

Responsibilities

• Act as engineering authority for EC&I and cybersecurity assets.
• Lead safe operation and expansion of CORE capability.
• Review EC&I design docs and CFAT testing.
• Maintain governance and regulatory documentation.
• Mentor CORE technicians and share knowledge.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and manage risks.
