Job summary

National Grid Interconnectors is recruiting for a Systems and Cyber Asset Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team at IFA1, Sellindge. You will own all OT systems and cyber assets, ensuring secure, compliant operations across control rooms and remote sites.

You will drive policy interpretation, risk-based decisions, and continuous improvement while coordinating outages and incident response. You must reside within an hour of the site and hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Technology within the energy sector.
• Familiarity with SCADA, Control and Protection systems.
• Strong leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, critical environments.
• UK driving licence and living within an hour of Sellindge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of system, cyber asset management and OT engineering professionals.
• Own and manage all systems and cyber assets at the IFA1 site, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
• Interpret and implement central cyber, engineering and assurance policies across OT environments.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cyber security awareness.
• Ensure safe systems of work and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage system performance across hardware, networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Oversee lifecycle management including asset replacement and supplier performance.
• Coordinate outages and routine maintenance for safe delivery.
