Job summary

SGN is seeking an OT Asset Engineer to manage cyber security for OT assets across remote gas sites. You will implement lifecycle processes, ensure patching and vulnerability management, and maintain asset registers with strong governance. A strong background in industrial automation and OT security is essential.

You will travel within the UK, work across office and field environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce cyber risk while ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of industrial automation and IACS.
• Familiarity with BS EN IEC 62443 OT security standards.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation with OT.
• HNCs or equivalent apprenticeships are expected.

Responsibilities

• Implement cyber security lifecycle processes for OT assets.
• Manage OT assets and remediation projects on remote gas sites.
• Support patching campaigns, configuration and password management.
• Maintain OT asset registers, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to deliver OT cyber security projects.
