Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking an OT Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen the Automation team. You will work on secure by design industrial automation, risk assessments, and cyber security controls across IACS environments.

The role demands practical experience in OT security, familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 standards, and ability to collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver secure outcomes. A professional engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field and professional registration
• Experience applying OT cyber security to PLC/DCS/RTU/SCADA/HMI systems
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 standards and related certifications
• Experience with OT cyber security tools and vendors (Stratix/Fortinet/Hirschmann)
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (CIP, Modbus, PROFINET, DNP3, IEC 61850)

Responsibilities

• Support OT cyber security project lifecycle activities and deliver secure by design IACS
• Assist in delivering OT cyber security consultancy services
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Bilfinger UK's OT CSMS
• Collaborate with OT Cyber Security Manager and project teams on security design and risk assessments
