Job summary

Astute People are partnering with a leading UK energy company to recruit a Controls, Instrumentation and Cyber Security Technician for their Cheshire site. The role offers a salary up to 60,000 plus private medical, dental and a strong pension package.

The ideal candidate is apprentice trained in Controls & Instrumentation with heavy industrial experience and knowledge of cyber security, ready to support OT security activities and maintain process control systems.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship Level 3 or equivalent in C&I, automation, control engineering or cyber security.
• Proven C&I, instrumentation or industrial automation maintenance experience.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, signal conditioning and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead C&I Engineer in delivering maintenance strategy for site control and instrumentation.
• Investigate faults in field instrumentation and control equipment and resolve them.
• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance across C&I and automation systems.
