Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Sales Specialist for Nottinghamshire and surrounds to drive the hip & knee reconstruction portfolio across implants, instruments, bone cement and robotics. You will build surgeon and hospital partnerships, execute focused commercial plans, and lead education and launches to promote adoption.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical device theatre sales, proven hospital access, and strong negotiation and strategic planning skills, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years medical device theatre based sales, ideally orthopedics.
• Proven success selling into hospitals, surgeons and key accounts.
• Consultative selling, negotiation and strategic territory planning.
• Excellent communicator and presenter; strong commercial acumen.
• Willingness to travel as required and work flexible hours.
• Growth mindset and passion for continuous learning — rapidly master complex technical platforms (robotics, power tools, bone cement) and translate technical knowledge into clear clinical and commercial value for a specialised surgical customer base.

Responsabilités

• Own territory performance and achieve/exceed annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute targeted account plans to grow high‑value opportunities, convert competitor business and introduce new technologies.
• Build and manage relationships with surgeons and key stakeholders, OR teams, buyers, hospital management, NHS Frameworks and procurement; act as primary specialty contact.
• Lead clinical education, product launches and in‑service training to support uptake of implants, instruments and robotics.
• Provide accurate forecasting, territory reporting and competitive/market insights to shape strategy.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally (regional sales, clinical affairs, marketing, operations) to ensure customer success and compliance.
• Maintain deep clinical and product expertise in the procedural area.
