Job summary

Newcastle University is seeking an experienced Organisational Development lead to drive a wide range of university-wide initiatives. You will design, deliver and evaluate OD programmes, build cross‑functional partnerships and embed the University’s values through people-centred change.

You will work with stakeholders to deliver strategic people plans, lead leadership development and coaching, and ensure timely delivery within a hybrid campus/home working model.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering OD and learning interventions.
• Proven track record leading projects in complex organisations.
• Experience in leadership, management development and coaching.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and change initiatives.
• Strong data analysis to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape organisation-wide OD projects across the University.
• Collaborate with People Services to deliver OD and learning requirements.
• Support strategic leadership, talent and succession initiatives.
• Build partnerships to ensure high-quality service delivery and value.
• Articulate success measures and evaluate activities to meet objectives.
• Design and deliver leadership and management development programmes.
• Line manage OD team members and deputise for senior roles as required.
• Contribute to embedding University values in all interventions.
