The role focuses on accurately processing and dispatching customer orders, working with the Purchasing and Warehouse teams to meet required timescales, with limited direct customer contact by phone and email.

The ideal candidate will have prior Order Processor or admin experience, exceptional attention to detail, and good IT skills for databases.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Order Processor or similar in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage a busy workload.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using databases.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders onto the internal database accurately.
• Process and dispatch orders within required timescales.
• Liaise with Purchasing for out-of-stock items.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to resolve processing issues.
• Act as a point of contact for order enquiries by phone and email.
• Keep internal systems and records accurate and up to date.
• Work to deadlines in a busy environment.
• Suggest ideas to improve processes.
