Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Customer Order Management Administrator in Peterborough to oversee the full order lifecycle from entry to fulfilment, coordinating with distribution centres and manufacturing plants, and keeping customers informed.

The role is hybrid (3 days on site) with a £15.23 hourly rate on a 6-month contract, requiring strong customer service skills, MS Office proficiency, and awareness of export documentation.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with Oracle is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full order life cycle, from entry and modifications to fulfilment and logistics.
• Act as the main contact for customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Resolve customer queries and elevate complex issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with export policies and prepare necessary shipping documentation.
• Generate and distribute internal and customer reports.
• Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
