Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our technology team at London Bridge. You will develop, maintain and enhance data processes, integrations and database components to support our business systems and ensure reliable service for customers and colleagues.

Working with governance and best practices, you will analyse execution plans, optimise queries, and implement robust stored procedures and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL and data migration.
• Experience with complex data processing and automation routines.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and SOAP web services, with strong data exchange and interface development.
• Experience with database architecture and design.

Responsibilities

Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location : London Bridge

Salary : £57,000 - £70,000, depending on experience

Hyde is looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to provide specialist technical expertise across the Oracle database solutions that underpin our business systems. In this role, you will develop, maintain and enhance data processes, integrations and database components, helping to deliver reliable and effective services for both customers and colleagues.

You will deliver accurate, thoroughly tested technical changes that enhance system performance, streamline processes and reduce unnecessary manual work. Working independently within established standards and governance, you will use your technical judgement to resolve issues, manage delivery risks and escalating matters when required.

Key Duties

• You will be responsible for execution plan analysis, developing effective indexing strategies, and monitoring and troubleshooting performance to ensure efficient database operations.
