Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a Data Engineering Analyst to join our Data Engineering & Information Systems Architecture team in London Bridge. You will help turn data into reliable information to support reporting, analysis and service improvement.

You’ll build and maintain data pipelines, bring data sources into Snowflake and ensure data accuracy, security and dependability. You’ll work with Senior and Lead Data Engineers and business colleagues, delivering defined work with guidance on complex

Qualifications

• Practical experience developing or supporting data pipelines, integrations or data warehouse processes in cloud-based environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python, able to write, test and troubleshoot code.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data quality and warehousing concepts; familiarity with Snowflake or AWS is relevant.
• Methodical approach to investigating technical issues, organizing workload and knowing when to seek guidance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience with version control and documentation.

Hyde is looking to recruit a Data Engineering Analyst to join our Data Engineering & Information Systems Architecture team within Digital and Information. If you enjoy solving technical problems and turning data into reliable, usable information, this is an opportunity to apply your skills to work that supports reporting, analysis and service improvement.

Working with Senior and Lead Data Engineers, analysts and business colleagues, you’ll develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations, bring agreed data sources into Snowflake and help keep our data accurate, secure and dependable. You’ll deliver defined technical work within agreed designs and standards, with guidance from senior colleagues on more complex decisions.

What you’ll be doing

• Building, maintaining and improving data pipelines and integrations using approved tools and engineering practices.
• Transforming, cleansing and validating data so it meets agreed quality requirements and is ready for reporting and analysis.

What you’ll bring
