Job summary

Future is seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join the Marketforce Circulation team in London. You will develop and maintain Oracle-based applications, write complex SQL, and tune PL/SQL for performance. The role involves ETL processes and collaboration across BAU and project teams.

You should have experience with Oracle Forms 12c, data extraction, and a strong understanding of database best practices. This hybrid role sits in London Paddington with two office days per week.

Qualifications

• Shown experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis using SQLPlus/ Toa d/ SQL developer.
• Experience writing complex and optimal SQL queries.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code.
• Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (Oracle Fusion Middleware).
• Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform and load.
• Working knowledge of partitioning and materialised views.
• Must have experience of working in support environment with good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must show fluency in working within standard procedures and within a project life cycle.
• Must have knowledge of database best practices.
• Keen interest of database development using Oracle.
• Keen in understanding the workings of an application.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle-based applications within Marketforce tech stack.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries to support BI reporting and data integration.
• Debug and tune PL/SQL code to improve performance and reliability.
• Work with Oracle Forms 12c and Oracle Fusion Middleware in application delivery.
• Engage with ETL processes and data extraction/transform/load activities.
• Collaborate with BAU teams and other developers on project lifecycles.
