Job summary

Projects Expert UK Limited is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX developer to design and build bespoke web-based solutions using the Oracle APEX toolset. You will develop complex PL/SQL components for validation and data import/export, while ensuring disciplined configuration control across projects.

Desirable familiarity with Oracle Projects and Financials Cloud, and experience with OIC, FBDI, OTBI Reports, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC, and Oracle BI Publisher will support delivering robust enterprise

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the Oracle APEX Web-based application development toolset.
• Capable of developing complex server-side PL/SQL code for data input validation and data import/export.
• Disciplined and methodical approach to configuration control
• Knowledge of Oracle Interface tables and previous experience in Database design.
• Essential Technical Skill Set - OIC, FBDI files, OTBI Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, JDeveloper, Oracle BI Publisher, Java core skills & Cloud knowledge, BPM workflows, Application Composer, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC
• Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex system customisations.
• Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience.
• Previous experience in Oracle Projects and Financials Cloud is desirable but not essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design bespoke Oracle APEX solutions and web-based applications.
• Create and optimize server-side PL/SQL code for validations and data import/export.
• Ensure configuration control and documentation across projects.
• Leverage Oracle tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC) to deliver reporting and analytics.
• Research, troubleshoot, and support complex customisations in Oracle environments.
