Job summary

Future plc in London is seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to own database development and BI related tasks. You will become the Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX expert, supporting BAU delivery, enhancements, and cross-application coverage with strong analytical focus.

The role involves working in a hybrid setup at our London office and requires experience with ETL processes, complex SQL, and performance tuning. A rewarding package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Shown experience in database development using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong SQL writing skills and data analysis using SQLPlus/ Toad/ SQL developer.
• Experience writing complex and optimal SQL queries.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning PL/SQL code.
• Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (Oracle Fusion Middleware).
• Experience with ETL processing, data extraction, transform and load.
• Working knowledge of partitioning and materialised views.

Responsibilities

• Report to Database Manager and become the ORACLE PL/SQL and ORACLE APEX 24.2 expert.
• Support BAU delivery, enhancements, developments and the primary business contact.
• Provide secondary cover for other applications based on technology experience.
