Job summary

Oracle London is seeking an onsite functional consultant and SME for Oracle HCM Core HR and Absence Management. You will lead requirements workshops and partner with clients to map needs to Oracle solutions.

You will design and configure Core HR components such as Legal Entities, Business Units, Departments, Jobs and Grades, and you will configure Absence Management including plans, leave types, accrual rules, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite functional consultant and client-facing SME for Oracle HCM Core HR and Absence Management.
• Lead requirements workshops, business process discovery, and fit-gap analysis.
• Design and configure Core HR: Legal Entities, Business Units, Departments, Jobs, Positions, Grades, and Workforce Structures.
• Configure Absence Management: Absence Plans, Leave Types, Accrual Rules, Eligibility Profiles, Leave Workflows and Approvals.
• Prepare and maintain: Solution Design Documents, Configuration Workbooks, Functional Specifications, Test Scripts.
• Conduct design playback sessions, CRP/UAT workshops, and end-user demonstrations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical consultants, and integration teams.
• Support data migration activities including validation of employee and absence data.
• Assist with quarterly Oracle releases, impact assessments, regression testing, and change management.
• Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and user guidance.
• Recommend Oracle leading practices and process improvements to optimize HR operations.
