Job summary

VE3 is seeking an Oracle Service Delivery Manager (SC Cleared) to own day‑to‑day delivery of our Oracle Cloud shared service. You will ensure live operations health, manage change entry, and align business and technical teams to keep the system running and improving.

You will work with Oracle Fusion functional consultants in HCM, payroll, ERP financials, or EPM, prioritising work, and representing delivery to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience running service delivery for a live, business‑critical enterprise system (Oracle Cloud Fusion preferred).
• Strong ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
• Senior stakeholder relationships and reporting experience.
• Ability to prioritise work with functional consultants and challenge assessments constructively.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs across incidents, service requests and change.
• Chair or oversee incident, problem and change management processes, including major incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Plan and manage the rota that keeps support cover running and the out of hours on-call arrangements.
• Work with the functional consultants to prioritise and sequence incoming work: quick fixes, sprint changes, larger work packages.
• Own the relationship with product owners and business leads; escalate where needed.
• Manage the quarterly Oracle release cycle end to end: assessment, testing, go‑live across HCM, ERP financials and EPM.
• Track capacity, workload and risk across the functional team; flag resourcing or skills gaps.
• Own service governance: reviews, reporting packs, continuous improvement, supplier performance management.
• Ensure test evidence, configuration records and documentation are kept current.
• Contribute to and maintain the knowledge management repository; feed incidents/release lessons back into the service.
