Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London invites applications for an Oracle Cloud & Database Engineer to scale data infrastructure across cloud environments, focusing on Oracle Exadata Cloud offerings. You will deploy, migrate and manage relational databases and contribute to automation tooling.

Responsibilities include designing infrastructure as code, building automation modules, and analyzing incidents to prevent issues.

Qualifications

Extensive experience deploying and managing Oracle databases in cloud environments.
Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, PL/SQL, Bash).
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/GitLab) and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).
Deep Oracle DBA knowledge (11g-19c) with focus on Exadata, including Cloud@Customer.

Responsibilities

Database deployment, migration and management on cloud platforms.
Develop infrastructure as code for databases and compute on cloud platforms.
Develop automation platforms and modules to enable efficient database management and support.
Analyzing incidents to identify root causes and enhance platforms and automation to proactively prevent issues.
