Job summary

Asda Blyth is seeking a qualified Optometrist for a part-time, permanent role. You will screen patients, support NHS service contracts, coach the team and help maintain high standards in the optical department.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Registered NHS performer with your area team or health board.
• MECs or WECs accreditation (or willing to gain within 12 months) and CPD points requirement.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and monitor minor eye conditions.
• Coach and train the wider team and maintain department standards.
• Develop new patient services and contribute to service development.
