Asda in Benton is seeking a part-time Optometrist to deliver high quality eye care within our optical department. The role includes screening patients, coaching the team, and maintaining service standards while supporting NHS service commitments.

You will work alongside an Optical Manager to develop new patient services and meet CPD requirements with Asda funding training and accreditation opportunities. A supportive environment with comprehensive benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Registered performer with NHS area team MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months).
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.

Responsibilities

• Screening patients and delivering high quality patient care.
• Coach and train the wider team and maintain department standards.
• Develop new patient services and participate in CPD and accreditation initiatives.
