WeComm is seeking an Optimisation Manager to lead the digital journey across Search, Merchandising and Personalisation. You’ll own onsite search strategy and drive data-led improvements that enhance the customer journey.
You’ll collaborate with experimentation and CDP teams on A/B testing, analytics and tools such as GA and ContentSquare, while mentoring the optimisation team and managing key technology partners to scale impact across major brands.
This is a HUGE opportunity for an Optimisation Manager to join one of the UK’s most recognisable and ambitious retail groups at a seriously exciting point in its digital journey. Home to an incredible portfolio of major consumer brands, the business is going through a significant digital transformation, with huge focus being placed on how customers search, discover and shop online. You’ll be working in an environment where digital optimisation is genuinely business-critical, with the scale, data, technology and customer volumes to make the impact of your work massive.
As Optimisation Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of that transformation, helping shape the digital roadmap across Search, Merchandising and Personalisation. You’ll drive the vision for onsite search, build data-led merchandising strategies, identify customer pain points and turn insights into changes that genuinely improve the customer journey. You’ll work closely with experimentation and CDP teams across A/B testing and 1:1 personalisation, lead optimisation projects from concept through to delivery, manage key technology partners and mentor the optimisation team. This is not a role where you’ll simply maintain what already exists — you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, introduce new ideas and help define what best-in-class digital discovery looks like across multiple major brands.
We’re looking for an Optimisation Manager with genuine expertise in digital optimisation, particularly across onsite search and merchandising. Crucially, you’ll need strong experience working with Algolia, with the confidence to use the platform as part of delivering and evolving a high-performing onsite search experience. You’ll understand how to take customer behaviour and performance data and turn it into actionable optimisation strategies, with experience across A/B testing, analytics and tools such as GA and ContentSquare. Add strong leadership, project management and stakeholder skills, and this is an unreal opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, serious scale and the chance to influence the digital experience across some of retail’s biggest brands.
