Job summary

MiTek Worcester is seeking an Optics Product Manager to own the MiTek Optics SaaS backlog and guide agile delivery teams. You will translate customer and stakeholder needs into prioritised work, maintain acceptance criteria, and ensure release readiness for regional deployments in EMEA.

You will collaborate with UX, development, and product portfolio teams to deliver valuable capabilities and manage risks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Worcester, UK, with comprehensive MiTek perks

Qualifications

• Experience in a software development environment, agile/scrum.
• Strong organization and personal accountability.
• Curiosity and analytical thinking with evidence-based decisions.
• Adaptability to changing product priorities, customer needs and delivery realities.
• Familiarity with software development concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Product Owner for assigned Optics product areas and align team goals with customer outcomes.
• Maintain an ordered backlog balancing value, risk, dependency and capacity for delivery teams.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria and feature requirements for Dev and QA.
• Synthesize input from customers, regional stakeholders and telemetry to build domain knowledge for EMEA deployment contexts.
• Assess increments readiness to ship, balancing customer impact and deployment readiness.
• Validate delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria before release to customers.
• Provide concise status updates and rationale to stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product Portfolio Management on roadmap direction and go-to-market inputs.
• Help internal teams understand new functionality and release changes.
