Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor. You will greet customers, listen to their needs, and help them find eyewear or services that suit them, including pre-screening activities for eye tests and guiding them to the right products.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
