Your Role

You will be supported by our Home Office teams for clinical support and work alongside Area Managers to optimize your role. Regular business updates and performance feedback will be provided.

About You

Our Optical Managers are crucial to our success, overseeing operations and ensuring high standards of patient service. Responsibilities include managing Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance, reviewing sales and targets, and handling customer queries. You will also manage clinic operations and shop floor processes to meet customer needs. Working closely with an Optometrist, you will coach and develop your team, so confidence in coaching is essential. The role requires excellent organization and time management skills.

You should be:

• A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
• On track to meet CPD points requirements
• Confident in coaching others
• Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
• Driven and ambitious to meet department targets
• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment
• Organized and effective in time management
