Specsavers Chatham is seeking a proactive Lab technician to join our optical lab team. You will work with modern equipment to cut, assemble and tint lenses, ensuring accuracy and quality for customers’ spectacles.

A strong eye for detail and clear communication with colleagues are essential in this busy retail lab. The role requires previous optical lab experience, adaptability, and a passion for helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Read prescription lens and frame specifications.
• Operate blocking and glazing machines to cut lenses.
• Assemble lenses into frames and tint for UV protection.
• Order frames and lenses and perform quality checks.
• Maintain housekeeping and machine upkeep to high standards.
