Job summary

Specsavers Loughborough is seeking a proactive Trainee Lab Technician to join our close-knit team. You will use computer-controlled equipment with an eye for detail, producing customer orders and ensuring high quality optical products while learning the trade.

Qualifications

• Produce customer orders from scratch and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Carry out testing, adjustments and re-assembly of glasses, maintaining materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day, you’ll help us out by producing customer orders from scratch, interpreting optical prescriptions and drawings, correcting faults and re-assembling of glasses, carrying out testing and adjustments, prepare and maintain materials and equipment. You’ll also make sure that you are producing the highest quality assured product.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders and maintain equipment and materials to high standards.
