Job summary

Flame Health Optometry is seeking an Assistant Manager for an established optical practice in Saffron Walden, West Essex. You will work closely with the Store Manager to run the practice and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will motivate and develop the team, support sales targets, manage rotas and training, and ensure high standards. In the Store Manager's absence you will lead the team to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical or retail environment.
• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach and develop colleagues and support sales and targets.
• Assist with rotas, training and team organisation.
• Handle customer queries professionally and maintain high standards.
• Lead by example and ensure the practice runs smoothly when the Store Manager is absent.
