Job summary

Specsavers Sunderland is looking for a caring Optical Assistant to confidently welcome and help customers through our doors. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with weekend shifts and a competitive hourly rate, plus ongoing training and development in optics.

You’ll be supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians, work in a central store accessible by trains, buses and metro, and enjoy 28 days of holiday including Bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through the store.
• Support from experienced Opticians and Technicians on the journey.
