Job summary

Specsavers in the United Kingdom is seeking an Optical Assistant who is caring, hardworking and keen to build a career in optics. You will welcome customers with confidence and provide helpful guidance, backed by training and development opportunities from our experienced team of Opticians and Technicians.

The role spans three stores—Wigan, Ashton-in-Makerfield, and Skelmersdale—and offers a supportive environment with extensive training, development options, and a strong team spirit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers as they walk in.
• Work across multiple stores (Wigan, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Skelmersdale).
• Support Opticians and Technicians with daily tasks.

• Full time 40 hours - will inlcude weekend working
