Job summary

Specsavers in Selby is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers and confidently guide them through their eyewear journey. You'll work with a supportive team of Opticians and Technicians and access extensive training.

This full-time role (37.5 hours, weekend shifts) offers strong development opportunities, Friends and Family discounts, and enhanced sick pay. You’ll join a busy store that cares about customers and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and help customers in-store with eyewear needs.
• Assist customers through the eyewear journey with friendly, product‑focussed support.
• Collaborate with Opticians and Technicians to deliver excellent service.
