Job summary

Specsavers in Thirsk is seeking a caring Optical Assistant to welcome customers and support their eyewear journey. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week and will include a weekend day. There is local parking available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business is desirable.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical terminology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through the store.
• Assist customers with frame and lens selections and inquiries.
• Support trained Opticians and Technicians on the shop floor.
