Job summary

Specsavers in Wigan is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team. You’ll be the welcoming face in-store, helping customers with optical products and services while delivering exceptional service.

With a focus on teamwork, you’ll communicate clearly, use IT systems confidently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Look forward to ongoing development, 40-hour full-time or 30-hour part-time options, and generous leave./p>

Qualifications

• Must have current or previous optical experience (Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant).
• Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using IT systems relevant to store operations.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Our Wigan store is easily accessible from the M6 motorway and has excellent public transport links, making it ideal for commuting. There will be occasional travel between our spoke stores - Skelmersdale & Ashton-in-Makerfield required in this role.
